Fab@Home is an open-source desktop rapid prototyping device. The technology employed is called Robocasting which is a variant of fused deposition fabrication where the media extruded and deposited is not melted, but is instead a material (e.g., silicone rubber or epoxy) that is in the state of a viscous gel. The material hardens or cures (rather than freezes) after deposition.
